Indian Navy 10+2 ( B.Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme Selection Procedure. 

Short note

Indian Navy invited an online application for unmarried male candidates to join the prestigious Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala for a four year B.Tech Degree course under the 10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme. 

 Interested candidate should read complete official notification before applying online to ensure that they fulfill all eligibility criteria for selection in Indian Naval Academy. 

Selection Procedure

• The Selection in Indian Navy ( CES) will be based on SSB interview ( Personality Test). 

• IHQ of MoD (Navy) reserves the right to fix the cut off for shortlisting of applications for SSB based on JEE (Main) All India Rank - 2020.

• SSB Interviews for  short listed candidates will be scheduled at Banglore / Bhopal / Kolkata / Vishakhapattanam from November to January. 

SSB Interviews will be conducted in two stages. 

Stage 1.

•  Stage 1 test consists of intelligence test, Picture Perception and Group Discussion. 

• Candidates who failed to qualify will be routed back. 

Stage 2.

• Stage 2 test consists Physiological testing, Group testing and interview which will last for 4 days. 

• Qualified Candidates will thereafter undergo medical examination. 

#Keep in mind#

• Change of SSB venue for interview is not permissible. 

• Any Correspondence regarding further change of SSB date is to be addressed to the call up officer of the concerned SSB. Award for fresh date for SSB would be subject to availability of batches / slots. 

• No compensation will be paid in respect of any injury sustained as a result of test. 

• AC 3 tier rail fare is admissible for the SSB interview. If appearing for first time for particular type of commission on production of tickets. Candidates are required to carry photo copy of the first page of passbook or cheque where the name, account no. and IFSC code details are mentioned while appearing for SSB. 

Training

• Candidates recommended by the SSBs and declared medically fit will be self for training in India Naval Academy, kerla Based of All India Merit List and no. of vacancies. 

• All Indian Merit will be prepared as per SSB marks. 

• Selected candidates will be induced as the cadets of the four year in applied Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering etc. as per Naval recruitment. 

• On completion of course, B. Tech degree will be awarded by Jawaharlal Nehru University ( JNU). 

• Distribution cadets amongst Executive, Education, Engineering, Electrical Branch ( Technical Branch) etc. will be as per the extant policy of Indian Navy.
