Short Note: BRO (Border Roads Organisation) Ministry Of  Defence has published a notification for recruitment of eligible male candidates for Multi Skilled Workers, Draughtsman, Lab Assistant and other post in General Reserve Engineer Force (GREF).

Interested candidates are advise to read complete official notification published by BRO, Ministry Of Defence before applying for any post to ensure that they fulfill all eligibility criteria of recruitment.

Important Dates:

• Notification Published on: 18-02-2021
• Last  Date of application submission: Within 45 Days

Age Limits:

• Minimum age: 18 Years
• Maximum age: 27 Years
• Age Relaxation is admissible as per extra rules of recruitment as below-
• For SC/ST candidates: 5 Years
• For OBC candidates: 3 Years
• Physically Handicapped: 10 Years
• Jammu & Kashmir Migrant: 5 Years
• Central Government Civilian employee and departmental candidates who have rendered not less than three years of regular and continuous service : Up to 45 years for SC/ST, 43 years for OBC and 40 years for UR for Group C.

Application fee:

• For General candidates and EWSs including Ex-Servicemen: 50/-Rs
• Other Backward Class candidates: 50/-Rs
• Scheduled Caste & Scheduled Tribe/Physically Handicapped Persons: Nil

Candidates must pay the application fee (Non-Refundable), directly through online URL link given below in favour of Commandant, GREF Centre, Pune-411 015. No other mode of payment will be accepted. The Candidate must attach the copy of e-receipt along with his application form.

Post Wise Required Educational Qualification

Draughtsman 

• 10+ 2 with Science Subjects from a recognized Board
• Having two years Certificate in Architecture or Draughtsmanship from a recognized Institute or equivalent or Possessing two years National Trade Certificate for Draughtsman (Civil) from a recognized Institute and having one year practical experience in the trade.

Supervisor Stores

• Degree from a recognized University or equivalent; and
• Possessing certificate in Material Management or Inventory Control or Stores Keeping from a recognized institution.

Radio Mechanic

• Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent
• Possessing Radio Mechanic Certificate from Industrial Training Institute with two years experience as Radio Mechanic in a Government, Public or Private Sector enterprises

Laboratory Assistant

• 10+2 from a recognized Board or equivalent
• Laboratory Assistant Certificate issued by Industrial Training Institute or a recognized Institute.

Multi Skilled Worker (Mason)

• Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent  
• Possessing certificate of Building construction/Bricks Mason from Industrial Training Institute / Industrial Trade Certificate / National Council for Training in the Vocational Trades / State Council for Vocational Training.

Multi Skilled Worker (Drive Engine Static)

• Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent 
• Possessing certificate of Mechanic Motor /Vehicles / Tractors from Industrial Training Institute / Industrial Trade Certificate / National Council for Training in the Vocational Trades / State Council for Vocational Training.

Store Keeper Technical 

• 10+2 from a recognized Board or equivalent; (ii) Having store keeping knowledge relating to vehicles or engineering equipment. 

Post wise Salary details

Draughtsman:  Rs 29200/- to 92300/- 

Supervisor Stores:  Rs 29200/- to 92300/-

Radio Mechanic:  Rs 25500/- to 81100/-

Laboratory Assistant:  Rs 21700/- to 69100/-

Multi Skilled Worker (Mason):  Rs 18000/- 56900/-

Multi Skilled Worker (Drive Engine Static):  Rs 18000/- to 56900/-

Store Keeper Technical: Rs 19900/- to 63200/-
