SSC MTS recruitment2021 Examination Pattern & Syllabus

 SSC MTS (Multi Tasking Staff) Recruitment 2021 Examination Pattern and Syllabus.


SSC MTS Examination will consist of two exams i.e. 

1. (Paper- I) Computer Based Examination (CBT)

2. (Paper-II) Descriptive Examination

Paper-I (Computer Based Examination)

Paper-I will consist of objective type / Multiple Choice Questions.The question paper will be set in both English and Hindi.

There will be Negative Marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer. So it is an advice to you, keep this in mind while answering the question. The wrong answer will reduce your actual marks.

Marks Score by the candidate by the candidate in Computer Based Examination will be normalized by using the formula published by the Commission through Notice No: 1-1/2018-P&P-I dated 07-02-2019 and such normalized score will be used to determine final merit list and cut-off marks.

The Answer key of the Computer Based Examination will provided by commission on the Official Website (https://ssc.nic.in ) after examination.

Paper-II (Descriptive Examination): 


Paper-II will of descriptive type in which  a short essay or letter is to be write by the candidate in English or any other language included in the Schedule-VIII of the constitution.

Paper-II will be organised for those candidate who successfully clear Paper-I i.e. Computer Based Examination
 
Paper-II will be of Qualifying Nature and it intended to check elementary language skills of candidate in view of Job Need.

Syllabus of Computer Based Examination: 


English Language: Basic of English language, Vocabulary, Grammar, Sentence Structure,  synonyms, antonyms and its correct uses etc. and ability to write English language.

General Intelligence & Reasoning: It include Questions of non verbal type, similarities and differences, space visualization, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discriminating observation, relationship concepts, figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series etc.

Numerical Aptitude: It include problems relating to Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and relationship between Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, use of Tables and Graphs, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work, etc.

General Awareness: This part will based on candidate’s general awareness of the environment around him and its application to society. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighbouring countries especially pertaining to Sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic scene, General Polity including Indian Constitution, and Scientific Research etc.
